Name: Percival (Percy) Ignatius Weasley

History: [After the War]
After the Battle at Hogwarts, Percy-- who was currently jobless, having resigned from the Ministry due to [obvious] disagreements-- felt it far more important to rebuild his relations with his family rather than dive back into work. Guilty about his brother Fred's death, he tried his hardest to make up for his past mistakes. He moved back in with his parents for a time -- trying his hardest to make himself and his family happy after such a great loss to the family. He succeeded in healing the wound that he'd caused for so long (which was relieving, since his mother tended to cry about it a lot).

After a time, he began working again--albeit from home. He was easily allowed back into the Ministry -- with new direction and leaders he was not ashamed to go back.

Two years of living comfortably with his family went by, and he finally decided he needed to be out on his own again-- twenty something by then he needed the space. He's been living in the city ever since, in a moderately nice flat and working his way up the ranks of the ministry. He visits his parents for a family dinner every third day, and although Fred is still greatly missed, Percy has learned to deal with the loss and no longer allows himself to feel guilty about his brother's death.

Occupational History: Various positions in the ministry of Magic -- Department for International Cooperation. Junior Assistant to the Minister of Magic. More recently has been climbing the ranks of the ministry again -- Assistant to the Minister of Magic

Goals: To make a difference. He'd rather like to be Minister of Magic. He wants to be remembered and recognized for his keen intelligence and skills.

Appearance: Stamped with the Weasley looks, Percy is tall and thin with red hair and freckles. He has hazel eyes which are hidden behind glasses. He's the only of the Weasley children who needed them.

Percy has a definite neat streak and will never be found in t-shirts and jeans, and instead values a more professional look. Suits, ties and well polished shoes make up a good deal of his wardrobe. His idea of casual dress is polo, or button up shirts with a pair of pressed slacks.

Special Abilities/Powers: Amazing at memorizing rules and regulations, can file papers like nobody's business. Amazing at matching ties with shirts.

Personality: Percy is very unlike the rest of his family -- he's neat and orderly and very rarely has a strong sense of humor. Regardless of this, once his head is on straight, he's very loyal and loving.
He's often referred to as anal about things -- and this is close, but it isn't quite right. He's borderline OCD -- sometimes he just can't function correctly until everything is in it's place. This is why he's good at organizing and planning, and tends to do very well at his job at the ministry. It goes a little farther than this though, even at home. Percy has a need to look neat all the time; he's forever straightening his clothing, or polishing and adornments he has on (ex: prefect and headboy badges in school). He tends to feel the need to adjust things on walls and dressers in his room, and keep everything in perfect order. Never a thing out of place.
He's perceived as a little snooty and bossy, and he is a bit, especially to people who don't know him. He feels the need to follow almost everything by the rules, and doesn't seem to mind telling other people to do it as well.

Strengths: His understanding of rules, guidelines, etc. He's amazing at retaining knowledge, and this makes him a fairly strong wizard.

Weaknesses: His ability to properly socialize is questionable -- he doesn't have many friends, nor does he really think to look for them. OCD-ness makes him almost impossible to deal with on occasion, even for himself. Sometimes he can't sleep unless he's gets up to make sure that everything is in it's proper place.

Likes: Order, Rules, Guidelines, Professionalism, cherry flavored candy, his mothers cooking, his family, his wardrobe

Dislikes: Disorder, messiness, being made fun of, getting dirty, arguments

Motivation: Percy is very self-motivated to do well. This could be because he wants to do better than his family did ; and now, also because he wants to do well for his family.

Fears: Losing more of his family, losing the favor of his family (again), being demoted.

Where, eventually, do you see this character going? Do you have any future plans or ideas for what you want to do with your character?:
I'd like him to calm down from his Percy-ness a bit. He needs to loosen up, have some fun. (Not too much, of course!)
